I had this when I was in Ireland years ago. I don't remember much about it.

I brewed a batch 6 months ago that was esentially an Irish Ale (It was a Pale Ale recipe with Irish Ale yeast normally used in Irish Stout). It turned out real well. I'd like to try Smithwicks and see if it's anything like my home brew.

Smithwicks is a Guinness product.....and as good as it is doens't hold a candle to the local brews in Scotland or Ireland as far as that darker style ale.
