I assume the person that wrote that a piece for SI thinks that Bomar sucked last year. I still don't know why people think that.

I assume SI's determination of key returning starters is players that were good last year and are returning this year, and they think Bomar sucked last year.

I agree with you, I think Bomar is a key returning starter, especially considering his performance in the Holiday Bowl.

Any sports reporter, especially for college football, who doesn't think the returning starting QB for any team isn't a key should have his job taken away. Is this guy serious? An ESPN reporter for CFB should certainly be up on recruiting, so seeing how Bomar was ranked #1 recruit by many publications, you would think he would deem him a key returning player.
