i hate those muppet wannabe's they need to take that crap somewhere else... sooner football does not need bert and ernie running around in a flamable foam and carpet costume putting a blemish on this program... sure its cool to the little kids but they have cartoons for that... if u come to the game more worried about wether u can take a picture with barnie and big bird then u should stay home and watch pbs....

Why is that horse carrying a kitten on the field? Is it part of the halftime show? Cat juggling? Could there be a god that would let this happen?

I actually don't mind the heads as much as the body. It's like they took carpet and wrapped it loosely around an androgynous body. If we gave the arms and chest a litttle form, it would be a bit better.

I think there should be a test for children under the age of ten. If they do not pass the test they should be let in the games. My sister has 2 boys one who is a sooner fanatic and the other is...a whorn fan. They are season ticket holders so, I get to go to most home games. The bad one gets his pick of what games he attends. He picks the games by how cool the mascot is. They just started letting him do this last season. I had made it to every home game sense I moved back from Arkansas. He thought the Horned Frog was the coolest ever so he got to go. HMMMMM...I think because I was not there, the Sooners picked up a L! Of course he loves Pig 1 and Pig 2. The coolest nephew and I are warming up to Pig 3(Bomar) STUPID MASCOTS!

Once again, I understand wanting to spend time with the kids, but a $60 football game ticket is a lot to spend considering the little tyke aint gonna buy you a few cold ones after the game!
If/when I have a child, they go to ONE game a year until they really understand what's going on, just so they can get the "feel" of the gameday atmosphere. The better they act at each game, get's them one more game the following year or some other goodie/souvenir.
Hell, growing up in Norman a half mile from the stadium, I would sell parking spots in the driveway and use the cash to buy a ticket at the game - they were much cheaper then. I could prolly still get a ticket last minute for around 30-40 bucks today. Anywho, until I was about 17, I'd rather spend a lot of the game walking around the bottom of the stadium cruising for out of town chicks. This equals waste of a ticket for a parent on a constant basis.

Geez, I'm rambling today. Oh, and as for Oklahomey, YMSSRA...

Good observation doc! You're right of course. A horse's mouth opening is only about a fifth of the overall length of his head from the tip of his nose to the base of his ears.

According to my memory of OU history, they actually were originally just that. However, I believe there was no corn-colored dye available at the time, so they switched to the more-generic "cream" color, of which corn was a shade.

At least the snout is longer and more narrow, and they got rid of those awful girlie eyelashes.

And I think the yellow is just caused by the lighting. It's more cream color in real life.

Hell no, I'm not voting for the horsepig. I HOPE it gets crushed by an orange with limbs and headgear.

The only reason we have these crafts projects gone wrong is because Joe C. wanted something he could enter into that stupid Capital One mascot thing, and I'm not about to give that beady-eyed little f*cker the satisfaction.

At the time that poster came out, one of my buds commented, "dayum, looks like she's smuggling golf tees in her top."

As I recall, that was first widely published photo of anyone outside of porn circles with her "High beams" on.

Yeah, when I was a kid and one of the ranch hands told me that he was going to take that Farrah Fawcett t-shirt off of me and put it on backwards and bend me over a tree stump.

I never wore that t-shirt again.

I'm not so worried about the pig horses. They can do their thing just so long as no tree stumps are involved.
