If OU faces anymore violations, IU can fire him without benefits, supposedly. Story here:

In reality, Kelvin did not want to quit here, he wanted to retire. His last day here, he sent checks to three of our five recruits, then headed north where he will be fired after the story comes out. Shrewd, but insane.

Et tu Shark?( in regards to your shrewd but insane comment, cannot help but think you are a tad twisted to come up with that scenario.)

I'm going to be honest whether it sounds right or not......but Sampson getting fired from IU would make a bad '06-'07 season a lot more tolerable for this OU fan. There..I said it.

I would tend to agree. KS bailed on OU after his actions put the OU program in peril and in a bad position.

Why should the OU players and fans suffer due to actions that violated NCAA rules for about five years (allegedly 2000-2004 550 calls).

Once at IU he puts down OU by saying "you don't need JUCO players at IU to win . . ."

He should share in whatever penalties that are imposed on OU and if he gets fired, so be it.

If you guys think he just bailed on his own volition, you're crazy. I would bet a lot that he was encouraged to entertain offers.
