My son and I bought an Ipod, 30 gig, at the pawn shop. Interestingly, on the back of it is stamped the Holiday Bowl emblem.
Anyway, I apparently do not have a usb port 2.0. Does anyone else have this problem?
I'm sick of messing with it right now.
wow, i would guess that was a player gift
you have an older computer i'm guessing?
you may need to buy a USB 2 card, they aren't that expensive, especially compared to an iPod
is it a video one? if you are really tired of it, i could take it off your hands ;)

Get a new computer.
here are a few cards at newegg.com... it may still be cheaper to pay shipping than to get one at Best Buy or CompUSA

I would put a link in here for a good place, but I doubt your computer is able to process hyperlinks... Hopefully, it will be able to handle the RAM necessary to display this smiley. :D
dolemite's current computer doesn't have USB 2 ports either

My buddy had a new iPod but he didn't have USB 2.0 either. It will work with USB 1.0, but it is slow. Painfully slow, but it does work
i'd imagine that they would be hella slow AND that it wouldn't charge over USB 1.1
and yeah, :dolemite: has my old eMachine i bought to learn Linux, it's so crappy it only runs ME
his motherboard died and his computer's in the shop

In the time it would take you to transfer a song via USB 1.1, you could buy and install a USB 2 card and be done with it.
if not a song, probably an album or two
that would include driving to and waiting in line at Best Buy too

That's what I meant. For one song.

for a desktop, its a breeze. open the case, find an open slot that matches the dimensions of the card, and pop it in.

it seems my old usb ports are working fine with the music, but it may be a different story with the videos.

What generation was the IPOD? Color screen? How much did you pay?

not sure of the generation...we've now downloaded music, videos, a tv show, and will do a movie later..it's truly amazing. It has a color screen. We paid 170 for it at the pawn shop.
sounds like the latest one
that's about $100 off what i can get them for

Fun, fun for me. I just did a $6000 shopping spree for gifts for a golf tournament that is held next week here in OKC. I had to buy 100 gifts. The high end stuff are 2-30 gb Ipods. The low end stuff are Calaway golfballs at $2/each. I so love spending money that other people have to repay.

Damarcus pawned his iPod.
That's funny.
