Should be a good time. Have fun!

We love going to the annual game but our schedule has change so drastically that it's not in the cards this year.

I'm going to miss Bluesfest too. :(

I'll be Father of the year though. :D

We're letting our Daughter have a sleepover with her friends.

Now...where did I put my medication? ;)

Oh yeah, and 90% of the acts they book for Bluesfest. :D

Tulsa peeps, I used to live in Tulsa when I was young. What is the name of some oyster bars in town? My parents used to take me, now I want to go up there and suck a few down off the half shell.

hurricane'bone

I think S&J is still there. I was just in Brookside yesterday..but wasn't paying attention.

bri

Bri - You been to Ford's Filling Station?

Mongo
5/6/2006, 11:51 PM
S & J, that is it. I remember pops and mom propping me and bro AT THE BAR and ordering round after round of oysters on the half shell. I was 3-5 years old, but I still remember that sh!t. Mighty tastey grubs at S&J.

No...I don't make it down that way unless I'm being dragged there by improbably hot girls. :D

S&J folks retired bout a year ago, its now a mexican place.

Ford's went outta business as well. Some new stuff is going in soon.

My extent of Brookside = BBD

bri

Heh...I don't even get to partake of BBD anymore. Stupid diet plan and living longer and crap...

I'll pour out some OJ in your honor next time I'm there.

There is a Lanna Thai, which is good, and according to the Thai dude that works with me, is also pretty decent.

Garlic Rose isn't bad I guess, and BBD is OK (I just wish they would remodel some and buy some new glasses and silverware!)

Whats your plan Bri? You doing anything special?

bri
5/7/2006, 12:17 AM
Just strict dietary guidelines and working out...which is hard to do with the jacked-up hours I work now, but I'm hanging in there. I've dropped about 30 pounds since January.

And I'm shooting a CRAPLOAD of free throws. ;)

I'm somewhat interested in seeing Janis Joplin's old band, Big Brother and the Holding Company, at The Venue, May 26th. Seems the original group has stayed basically intact, with different women filling the Pearl's place.

Ah, BBD...a packed, standing-room-only dining room full of people still wearing last night's clothes and baseball caps pulled down over their bed hair, trying to avoid eye contact with everyone else because they don't want anyone seeing how bloodshot their eyes are.

F*ckin' AWESOME. :D

Anyone getting together anywhere?

Thanks.

I'll try REAL hard to be there.

Mrs. MiccoMacey has a guest coming in and a party the next day for her grad class. She might be a little nervous about letting me go.
