The intake is inside the car??? That and the fact that they fire that sucker up with the breaks on, lead me to believe that this guy is nuts, cuz that can't be good for the brakes/frame due to the stress.

Oh and Worst Voice Over Ever for the video- that guy is remeniscent of films from middle school. Zzzzzzzz

That looks like a beetle got hit by a missile.

Didn't Paul Newman used soup up beetles and then race people with "faster" cars? Seems like I heard that a while back. Always struck me as funny to burn people with a VW.

I try. Don't knock it until you try it though, it's a REALLY REALLY good ride. Those German engineers know how to do it right.

You know, I was gonna cut you some slack for admitting you're a fag, but then you had to go and brag on German engineers. Germans can't build a car to save their ****ing lives. Any Japanese - hell, any Asian built car (including a Hyundai, Kia, and Daewoo) are superior to anything the germans have built. Of course all you silly boys are all "oooh, bimmer man, benz me, audi rocks my world..."

German cars are the absolute suck. If you can afford a Mercedes, buy a Lexus or Infiniti. You'll have 4 times the car for half the money.

if you are talking the total cost of ownership, yeah Japan has the Germans beat, but for actual driving, it's not the same

i loved driving my VW no matter how crappy it was

nothing like my Subaru though ;)

I love driving my beetle, and it's a stick which makes it even better. There's just something about having that stick in your hand when driving that makes the entire experiance much more enjoyable.

What I really want is a Crossfire though. I'd sell my non-existent first born child into eastern European servitude for a Crossfire.
