Oklahoma City police say a man who was attacked while riding his bicycle last week has died.
David Wilson was attacked shortly before midnight last Thursday and hit several times with an aluminum baseball bat. Wilson's attacker then stole the bike.
Police say the suspect is a white or Hispanic man in his mid-30's, about 5-feet-8 and 140 pounds

Tonight (Tuesday May 2) while riding at Lake Hefner I witnessed two cyclists
nearly run down by a driver on the west side of the Lake Hefner
approximately 100 yards South of Britain Rd. The vehicle passed the 2
cyclists and slammed his brakes as he cut back in front of them. He
then threw the vehicle in reverse and made a 2nd attempt to run down
the 2 cyclists. The 2 cyclists again took evasive action and a crash
occurred. One rider is fine no injuries, the other went to the
hospital and will probably be admitted. He was knocked out and
suffered head and facial injuries.
Because the vehicle backed up and made a 2nd attempt to hit the 2
riders, OCPD is investigating this as an Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
We need to help in locating the vehicle. OCPD is looking for a late
model Chevy Avalanche, Red in color with black trim, Alloy/chrome
wheels and tinted windows. Partial Oklahoma tag # 250 - ???. If you
see this vehicle, please call OCPD with the full tag and driver
description. Lets help put this driver in prison.

and last season there was that lady in norman that got shot with a pellet gun. I'm afraid to go out alone, or even with a small group (2-3). I currently ride with the BLN, but I'd like to be able to ride other days w/o fearing something like this. Jeeeeeeeeez
