View Full Version : what new location will the USAF pick for me?

This is a poll, yes they are in rank order.

My list from this (http://www.soonerfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67135) thread has been narrowed to the 10 poll choices. Where do you think the USAF will send me? I've added the wild card unknown as AFPC has a tendenancy not to listen to the opinion of the mover.

Knowing how the AF works assignment, you'll wind up with your last choice or in the least desirable place they can send you.

I do know a guy in San Anton that works the medical assignments. If you want to give me some basic info I could talk to him and see what he can do for ya, no promises though.

If you don't get Honolulu, Mary Esther (Fort Walton Beach) would be a great second choice. Nice town, nice beaches, and you would get to watch those funky spec ops Pave Lows flit around Hurlburt.

Do have some nice choices on there, tho based on my exp, I never got anything I wanted..lol LIsted Cooroda Spring, Ft Drum, Ft, Sill and Germany.. and off to South Korea my *** went..

Ah well, you make due no matter what.. Good Luck.

Looks like the "Unknowns" have it.

As of 10:00am this morning, I will be relocating myself to Ramstein AB, Germany this fall.

Of course this could all change until I actually set foot in Germany.

Hofbrau House in Munich has three levels with the upper two open in the middle so you can look down at the first level.

Top level = where you go if you want to drink a few beers and talk to the people you are with.

Middle level = where you go if you want to get insanely drunk and party down.

First level = where you go if you want steins of beer sloshed all over you and frequent body contact with everyone there. Something akin to an oompah band mosh pit.
