Am a fan of the 8 ride, but I watch the whole race. I used to never care about them, had the same "they drive round in circles" attitude..lol But since I got sucked into Fantasy Nascar, I have become a huge fan. As has my Wife and 3 kids..we all play Fantasy NASCAR, pretty fun.

But to answer the question, I'll stick around even if the 24's been bounced out of the race early.

If both the 24 and 48 get bounced, I usually tune out.

I was a huge fan of Dale Sr. back in the early-to-mid-90's. If he was out of the race, then I would turn the channel. Since the crash, I haven't been able to get back into it as much, as I don't really have a guy to root for.

If I have to cheer for someone these days, then I root for Junior.

Not usually because if something happens to the 17, I still watch to see if something bad will happen to the 8, 24, or 48, which would mitigate the sting of something bad happening to the 17.
