three year warrantys, and are smokin' hot deals.

Note, they do not include monitors, but you can pick one up cheap as well.

the small business deals are often better than the refurb ones

it's only a 1 year warranty, you could upgrade though

one thing: the older Dell (samsung sd 616t) DVD-ROM drives don't support DVD+R....but you can DL firmware to make it so.

The big difference in the two is your config has a monitor, but 1 year warranty, 160GB HDD, XP home

my config has no monitor but a 3 year warranty, 80GB HDD, XP Pro
and free shipping (but a $24 handling charge).

a 19" LCD those are like $200+

i want the cheapest OS i can get, i'd rather get it without one since i don't really need to buy one anyway, but MS doesn't like that :rolleyes:

it's probably a wash with the warranty though

the Optiplex used to be a bit better machine, but i don't know that there is a lot of difference anymore that i have seen... i guess they are easier to work on
