Anyone think our O-line recruits are going to get even better with two first round picks, in back to back years??

I bet some of those punks who left us are kicking themselves. Kevin Wilson is a damn good ball coach.

Only thing is, none of the guys drafted were recruited as O-linemen.

It also shows that if you have ability, they will find a way to get you on the field somehow....

Yeah I really like Simmons...DTs make good lineman because they already have good footwork so they can pull or trap, excellent balance...

Hey, whatever works, right? Jammal did pretty good switching as did Chester, maybe Simmons will be our next prodigy...he is a BIG kid. I think he is the broadest-across-the-shoulders guy I've ever seen. Plus, he is a CLASS act; a really nice guy.

Here's something that may get any doubters of the Schmiddy plan on the campus in Norman-
From the Ravens' site-

But no matter how many PB&Js and protein shakes Chester downed, it's evident that it was a controlled growth, and the weight issues that plague many offensive lineman shouldn't affect him. He followed a strict training regimen throughout his four years in Norman, Okla. that allowed him to maintain his strength and agility as he gained the extra pounds.

"We have a great (workout) program at (Oklahoma)," said Chester. "I'm sure Dan (Cody) and Mark (Clayton) will attest to this. Jerry Schmidt (Oklahoma's strength and conditioning coach), he works us out well, and that's who I worked out with here at school when I was training for the Combine and pro day. You know, I just got after it and worked hard. I took it real serious by putting everything into it."

Now, he's got to put everything into another task ? playing offensive line on the professional level.
