I am at yermom's playing poker and watching the Draft.

I have beer in his fridge that is from football season. The Born on date is from September of 05.

Is this beer still good to drink? Will it taste bad? Will it make me sick?

I also have some homebrew that a guy gave me in his fridge that is the same age. Will it be good?

dude, you're probably one of those guys who will eat pizza that's been sitting on the counter for a week and a half. the beer can't possibly hurt you. and if it does, i'm sure Yermom will correct me.

I've seen someone drink a 10plus year old beer and not suffer any ill effects. You'll be fine.

I wont eat pizza if it has been on the counter for 30 minutes. I am very anul about what I eat and cleanliness. ITS yRMOM WHO wILL EAT OR SLEEP IN ANY FOOD

if its a beer that actually needs a born on date, then you should probably toss it.

I have no idea about a beer that's been in the fridge for that long. It just doesn't happen at my house.

If its been in the fridge since then, it should be drinkable. Only worry would be if it's been taken in and out and exposed to different temps.
