you all, i'm almost embarrassed to ask this, but i need a pretty huge favor.
my movers bailed out on me and i'm suddenly in desparate need for some hands. i'm curious if anybody would be interested in helping me load a small trailer with apartment crap for about 45 minutes. it's just east of OKC's airport. i can pay cash or food or whatever. drop me a reply here or a pm if you're sympathizing with me.

the 2 big things are a couch and an HDTV. there's also a light recliner and massage chair. everything else is just boxes (printer paper boxes) and bags. i imagine i wouldn't need more than 45 minutes from anybody who'd be interested in helping.

so yeah, if you have time and sympathy :) could you please drop me a line or a reply in here? i can give directions on how to get here. this is my last day in OKC (sadly) as i begin the new life in tulsa at the home i just bought.

thanks

5 million messicans looking for work in the OKC metro and you're bugging us? On a Saturday morning to boot! Get up off that wallet and throw around a Hamilton or two and you'll have it loaded and unloaded at the other end in a flash.;)

I got a pickem up truck.
I can be there by Tuesday.
Send me your gas card and about $100 for some quarter pounders.

Transportation costs........$300
Food for driver................$100
Having a fellow Sooner help you lift your couch and oversized tv...Priceless.

Yeah, perhaps, but there's rain. So play is suspended.

Here's where I live though, if anyone lives nearby.

I checked, that's about a 1300 mile drive for me.
what with naps and all for this old guy, I guess I better revise my arrival time to Thursday. go ahead and send the gas card overnight express tho, otherwise we're talkin Friday.

If I were just a little bit closer to you than 800 miles away, I'd be happy to lend a hand.

hope you get it all taken care of.

KEITH: Three inches thick. Got it in Italy. But the BIG problem is going to be the convertible sofa. You see when you move it, it tends to open up so it's going to be real difficult getting it down the stairs.

JERRY: STAIRS??? There's no elevator?

KEITH: Nah, it's a brownstone. Three floors.

JERRY: I'm sorry I can't do this. I can't do it. I can't. It's too soon. I don't know you. I can't help you move. I'm sorry. I can't. I just can't.
