first of all, the DD show is slightly more interesting than the john mcenroe show was; but i had to tune in for this interview.

they're re-playing it right now and here is the xcript: http://nbcumv.com/release_detail.nbc/cnbc-20060427000000-peterosespeaksout.html

i've always been against the idea of letting pete near organized baseball ever again, let alone electing him into the HOF....but i may have changed my mind on this.

during the interview, he basically says he made some stupid mistakes and just wants another chance to show that he's good for the game. he seemed very sincere and straight forward.

Amen to that. If they ever let pete into the Hall, they had better have let the entire 1919 sox team in by then. Especially Happy Felch. Mainly just because I like to say Happy Felch.

Keep him out of BB and let him into the Hall. Gambling is against the rules of baseball but the Hall has no such rule and is not run by MLB.
