Powlus could have been better if he wasn't so injury-prone. I hope Clausen doesn't get hurt, for the his sake. The hype at ND is ridiculous, but the merciless taunting of the failures (like Powlus) is unrelenting. I'm going to venture a guess that Weiss is a good coach, but I thought the same about Willingham when he won 10 games in his first season at the helm of the domers. Time will tell (the third year is supposed to be a really really really big deal there).

I'm going to bet that Urban Meyer wins a national title at Florida before Weiss and the Irish do, brother of mediocrity (Clausen) at the helm or no.
