So, was wondering what you f'in' hillbillies thought of.... a spanish language national anthem???!!!!

Seems to be keeping with the fact that numerous restaurants in Dallas are going to be closed this upcoming Monday. Why you may ask? Because the hispanic workers are taking the day off to.. protest!

I may have to wear my "Vote for Pedro" shirt that day.

Why not? This is becoming their country anyway. They are already beginning to dictate our lives and have major influences on our every day activities...

Those citing the fact that America was built by immigrants must remember...all those immigrants learned English and sang the same national anthem...in English. Don't like it? Keep walking north and invade Canada.

I think it is not going to help their cause. However, this is America, eventually little Pedro is going to get tired of picking fruit and want to own the orchard, he'll have to learn English to do that, I wouldn't worry about it too much. BTW, ELS teachers are the biggest waste of money ever, submerge them and give them no other choice but to learn the English.

i agree. i have a good friend who moved from mexico when he was 5. he learned to speak english watching sesame street.


immersion works for the french foreign legion....... learn french in 30 days or hit the road.

Wow, I really and truly agree with Bush about something.
