...but I got a new job today that:

A. Pays me more money that what I'm making now
B. Will cut down on my drive time since the job is located in Irving and not North Dallas
C. Will really cut down on my drive time since this company is consolidating everything into the Solana business complex in Westlake (which is right across Hwy 114 from Trophy Club where my in-laws live) in July.
D. Will offer me a better chance for advancement in about a year or two.

Needless to say, I'm quite happy. :D

I've had a big engineering and construction firm after me since November. Every time they've contacted me, they sweeten the deal. They really, really want to get into this business in this part of the country.

Sooner or later, I'm gonna have to fish or cut bait.

I can travel more, make more money and get a longer term contract, or I can be closer to my kids, make less money and roll the dice that this outfit holds up a while longer.

I'm conflicted.
