A while back I was going to try to design and build a bed for my son. I think this would have been handy for that. And it's easier to use than any of the other free crap I tried.

We used Sketchup quite a bit in our architectural office. It's a simple program to use. Good for knocking out some schematic designs rather quick. In other news, I did the package and CD cover art on the Art*Lantis/Sketchup boxed set :D

Their office suite is also rumored to be coming out this year.

I get the feeling that my next operating system (unless I get that intel mac) is going to come from Google.
