Two things:
Do any of you get a black screen between pages at SF.com. I've only noticed this since installing 1.5.0.2. Also I get a lot of "Firefox could not write to memory location a876d59899d2" when using yahoo mail.

Have any of you experienced similar problems?

I get a white blank page when doing quick searches sometimes, but no memory problems.

I've had no proablems. In fact, this release has fixed a memory leak that's been bugging the hell out of me for a long time. Before the update, if I left my browser up for a couple of days Firefox would would take up like 800 megs of memory. Then i'd close it and it would take about 3 minutes to close. I don't seem to be having that problem any more.

So far, it's just me. That's what I was afraid of.

Are you sure you aren't momentarily going blind in between pages? 'Cuz that's a whole other issue.

Leave your browser up for a couple of days? I never noticed that because I tend to close the browser if I leave the computer.

I rarely close my browser. Of course, I lock my computer whenever I get up from my desk and I leave my computer on 24/7, so I pretty much never close any application I use every day unless it crashes.

And i'm glad bursitis can verify the memory leak. i was beginning to think I was the only one with that problem. i had went as far as disabling every extension I had installed to try to fix the problem. When looking at the release notes for this update, I was excited to see that they had fixed many memory leaks. I think I've had this problem for 6 months.

Have you tried uninstalling, deleting your user profile (don't forget to save your bookmarks if you want them) and the firefox directory, reinstalling then re-setting everything up?

Thanks for trying, but that's an XP fix. I'm running Windows 2000.
