I never get pop-ups here, not even attempted ones.

next time you get that, see if you can figure out where it's coming from. Is it coming from the banner ads at the top of the page?

I don't know about that one, but I used to get regular popups from tribalfusion all the time. It got so annoying that I actually bothered to download and enable adblock :p

spyware? Lots of times spyware causes popups even though none would normally appear on a page.
