I am pathetic!

I didn't have time to watch tv last night so I set the dvr to record a couple of shows. I just sat down to eat some lunch and watch them and low and behold there's Gary England and a tornado in El Reno. Well I had seen it on the news last night but this was "live" so I sat there and watched about 30 minutes of it while I ate lunch.:O

If I watch it again maybe it will pick some planes up and throw them around this time?

There had to be some damage, but from the footage I saw it was surprisingly minimal. There were a Cessna and an acrobatic bird tied down outside that took a direct hit and didn't look damaged at all. There have to be dents and stuff, but I didn't see any major structural damage. It didn't look nearly as bad as when a microburst ravaged Westheimer back in 1992.

There was some idiot screaming about a "major tornado". I think it was on KFOR, so it could have David Payne.

I think so - that's when I switched over to channel 9. All of the storm spotters were freaking out there too "GARY, CAN YOU HEAR ME!!". Gary basically told them to shut up.

Hah! We must have switched at exactly the same moment, because I heard that too. "Major tornado" my ***. The thing was 50 yards wide, fercryinoutloud. Why do meteros turn into such drama queens?

Why can't we have parallel channels with the shows on them. It only rained for 5 minutes at my house in north Edmond. Hell they showed 20 minutes of highlights at 9 pm and ran over into "What about Brian".

Oh and they had that damn alert coming on Cox cable every 5 minutes to tell us to turn to channel 19.
