i wouldn't read too much into it at this point. it's pretty typical there is attrition with coaching changes. i'm not happy about the prospects of losing some key parts of a top 5 recruiting class (particularly since Clark and Mayfield seem like question marks to qualify regardless who the coach is)...it's not a reflection on Capel's ability necessarily. if Reynolds goes somewhere else it's disappointing, but these things do happen with coaching changes all the time.

OU has benefitted from them in the past, as well.

i think in time capel will prove to be a great recruiter. i thought all the recruits would be very excited to have a young coach lead them for the next 4 years. if scottie is as good as i've been lead to believe, basketball schools might be more appealing to him now. capel is here to lead us in the future and if scottie and others leave, let's give him a few years to set his own foundation. it's not a do or die situation for us.
