hopefully this clears the air a bit. Helps me understand it a little more, cuz it sounded fishy even to me for a few days.
We surprised my brother with a new Pathfinder over Christmas (yes, he makes the payments, we're not made of money) and the dealer gave us a ridiculous amount of time to test the vehicle and see if we liked it and determine if we could afford it. We only had it for about a week before signing for it, but I can imagine this being sort of the same kind of deal. The difference is, neither me nor my family can rush for over 1900 yards for a team wearing crimson and cream. Therefore, AD was a target as soon as the story surfaced.

Cut G O 8 a little slack ,he IS confirming through firsthsnd account that this extended testdrive sittuation Does indeed exist.I for one never have been given a couple of weeks to testdrive a car while firming up financing or making up my mind about a car purchase.

Oh, just ignore them goingoneight. Some of these people think they are masters of Information Mountain, when they're really just silly willys on a message board killing time in between doing things that will make them go blind. :P

Violation or not, it was a stupid *** thing to do. And I wouldn't trust the word of some sleezy car dealer telling me it was "standard operating procedure"
