The mentioning of this place on another thread got me to thinking. Has anyone ever ate at this place?

I stand corrected. I never hear of anyone that has ever eaten at this place. How do they stay in business? Anyway.........

money laundering.

used to be coke out of there and Othello's, too.

they used to have a little jazz club. and i've been there a few times on Christmas Day after the family stuff was over with some HS friends and had a pizza--only place open, waiting for the Deli to open. Deli always has live music on Christmas.

the pizzas i had there on Christmas were always decent--but it was some old guy making the pies who clearly knew what he was doing. the other times (non Christmas) it wasn't good--and wayyyyyy too much flour on the bottom of the undercooked crust. there is no way on earth i'd order anything but pizza there.....seafood ravioli at ToTo's? no thankee.

It takes a lot to drag me away from there.

I think their best songs were
Hold The Line and Africa

I used to eat there quite a bit. A room mate would work there on game days, so we were always taken care of by the owner.

I was always partial to "Rosanna".

Good pizza, but I haven't seen any other customers. I get kind of a "money cleaning" vibe from that place.

When my mom was finishing up school and dad had quit the post office to start college, he worked for Patsy in the bar for a few years.

Any of you guys remember a nightclub that was West of Norman a few miles and located on the South bank of the river? It's been a ton of years ago and the name of the place escapes me. It was sure out in the sticks, I remember that.

I've been there a few times with the Norman mafia. The wine flows like a river...

In the late 70's if you weren't at Dencos at 2 in the morning you were at Toto's. His brother was Patsy that owned Othellos. King Crimson is just scratching the surface with his comments. My then girlfriend waited tables and worked as a coctail waitress at Othellos for a year. For every good Barry story there were 2-not so good ones.

I've been there once with some people from work, and we were the only ones in there--at lunch-time on a weekday during the school year. The service was still terrible.

After our food arrived (45 minutes after we ordered):

Can we get some silverware?

Sure, it's over there behind that counter. Help yourselves.

I went there once in the Spring of 93. My date and I were waiting for the band Ancient Chinese Penis to play at Rome 90. I didn't have pizza there, but I did drink a virgin margarita. Hope that helps!
