Skye Green, caucasian american, ran a 10.1 100m today at the Texas 3A regional track meet. It is the fastest time in the state this year so far. He isn't being highly recruited yet, but he did run for, i believe 1,800 yards. 3A has put out more "quality talent" of late than the bigger 5A programs.

From a rival paper in Abilene, they make mention of the feat at the end of the page. It is only .5 off the national record but it gets 2 sentences in the article. Classic.
