Ding ding! we have a winnah. It's my old TM 3 Wood.

The yardage on that hole is 409. I think the confidence in the driver was gone that day on Kauai.

Shot an 89 today. (19 over)Definitely better than I was last year at this time. I was counting on the chipping green being open to get a little feel back, but it was closed and I lost prolly 5 strokes due to no short practice. Not a terrible round. I should be back in the low 80's by June. Anywho, a bad day of golf beats a good day in the office.

FWIW, The yellow mark is where my drive ended up if memory serves....

I shoot in the 80s all the time...











the course I usually play is a par 3 though...so I usually shoot about 30 over par ;)

looks like it was pretty windy.
It really wasn't that day. Pretty still- maybe 10 mph.

This is the hole that follows it. I almost had par- lip-out on the putt.

The course that I played today isn't too pic worthy. 21 buckaroos a round!

In How are ya? No fuggin way!

and it was teed up behind the markers. You just can't see the other one. It was one of those wacky tee boxes that is off set towards some random direction. Want to get into sooneron's heed? Design a course with a bunch of those damn tee boxes!!!!

The Kiele course at Kauai Lagoons- Nicklaus design. really nice and pretty cheap if you're staying at the Marriott. Which is not that great of a hotel, but...
