ok so the lockheed martin job wasnt meant to be......it took them 3 months to finally make a decision....WHAT.ever
so i have an interview thursday morning with Comerica ....a friend of mine who worked for me in san antonio, and who keeps an eye out on job interview leads calls me and says "a good friend of mine is best friends with the hiring manager for this position in dallas, he asked me if i knew of anybody, so i wanted to give him your name"......he then tells me its the same job that i already have an interview for.....
so he calls his friend who calls the hiring manager.....i know that he loves hockey, antique corvettes and is a retired cop.......and he's been told i'm A numbah one
wish me luck

well i already had the interview secured all on my own before i got this call...but belonging to the retired cop association is not necessarily a bad thing....this would be a good job and alot closer to home than the lockheed job

ok so it went pretty good...but the guy is taking a "much needed" vacation starting monday, for 2 weeks.......he's based in detroit, so after his vacation, he'll go back and they'll call back folks for a final interview and then make their decision
ummm hellooooooooo, you know i'm your guy, lets do this now
You'll be lucky if he survives the walk from his office to his car. <cue ScottD>
Good luck anyway.
