Seriously though, I've heard it is nice. Kind of a cleaner, less touristy version of Cancun. It is where alot of people "our" age go down there. A few people I know honeymooned (that why you are going?) there, and liked it.

I don't have the specifics, just know that most if not everybody I've known that went there enjoyed it.

Cabo is a blast, but nowadays you'll need to take an a5sload of $. Take your clubs too.

Yeah, I'd be able to take a good amount of money since most of the travel will be taken care of. Golf course is right across the street from the Hilton.
Probably going in August, since that's the warmest month for the water, but It'll be balls hot out during the day.

Cabo was one of the stops on the cruise we took last spring. All I remember is the water was ice cold, and it wasn't quite as disgusting as Mazatlan and Puerta Vallarta.

Can't get in the ocean at the Hilton? I've heard that before so I started checking the reviews. most recent (last month) said it was swim at your own risk. When did you stay there?

it was July, the waves were huge, and the current would throw you into the rocks.

The hilton was pretty close to the westin, I would think the same conditions would exist.

Oh, ok. Yeah I've been reading that the Hilton has a "pennisula area" that may cut the waves down a bit. Thanks for your help. How was the Westin?

August can have hurricanes, and it OPPRESSIVELY hot, but this is probably the best month of the year for the biggest blue marlin-350lb. and up to MUCH bigger than that.

Never been there myself, but I have several friends who have gone to Cabo more than once, and say it's great. They loves the marlin fishing too. Cabo is indeed a good "thirty-something" kinda place. Although, this girl who used to cut my hair would dance on tables down there if she got hold of enough margaritas. One of her friends has blackmail video.

I think we were on the same boat.

Only difference is, I loved it. Especially Cabo. We went snorkeling and cliff-diving, our water taxi driver was excellent. Lover's beach was fun, but definetly no swimming there, especially on the Pacific side.

I want to go back and spend more time there.

Yeah, I've heard it can be pretty hot during that time, averaging mid 90's.

If you haven't been to Mexico before, you must use the sunscreen. The sun will kick your a5s. It feels like it's about 40 feet up in the air.

I've been to Cabo maybe 10 times. Don't listen to any of these ****in' hillbillies. Anywhere on the Baja is better than anywhere else in Mexico. Can't get in the water? Why? Cause you're a poonis? I've swam/scuba/snorkelled all over the whole Cabo area. If you happened to go during bad weather, don't act like it's that way all the time.

I usually stay in La Paz, and then drive down to Cabo. It smokes all the horse**** places like Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, etc. all to hell.
