Been there the last two summers, but prefer Universal Studios.

i prefer socal but florida is alright. and free lodging can't be beat

We got free lodging the first summer, and free airline tickets last year.

Kissimmee is pretty coool. Anyone been to the the Alligator farm there where you enter the building through the big alligator's mouth. It's sweet.

They feeld the gators and crocks live chickens.

No offense brat.
Kissiimee is loaded with stuff to do.
make sure you go to "Old Town" on Saturday evening.
There will be about 300-600 street rods and old cars show up there for display. It is a ton of fun and has all the ambience of a 1950's-1960's town. Cheeseburger diners(burgers reflect the 21st century price changes) lots of shops, and several fun rides.

Houston had, and may still have, a Florida League baseball team there called the Osceola County Astros.

They were afraid of the publicity backlash from a team called the Kissimmee Astros.
