And just in time too. The kid is due next week. He'll be our first.

I told my wife it wasn't that big a deal, I had slept in a dresser drawer when I first came home from the hospital (true story). She wasn't down with repurposing furniture. ;)

I'm pretty ansy/nervous/excited, but I'm ready for him to be here.

You can name him Howzit if you want - I'm ok with that.

Congrats.

How much are you willing to pay for naming rights?

Does he have to wear an elf hat?

But the theme that my wife picked our for the nursery is "sleepytime"! See the moon!

Won't that make the little guy drift away to dreamland upon entering the room?:O

Is the "breast" light fixture in the ceiling supposed to make him hungry or otherwise appreciate the miracle that is breastage?

Well, I do live in Austin, so any such positive reinforcement probably isn't such a bad idea.

IMHO that light fixture looks like what a wizard's boob would look like, if the wizard were a chick and an exotic dancer. :D

Great. Now I won't be able to go into my son's room without getting a case of the happy-pants.

Congrats....we finished our little ones room about two weeks ago, he is due in mid May. He is our third, we have two daughters 6 and 3. Enjoy the peace and quiet while you can. Once there is a herd of them....silence is no more.
