Mine is 3 bucks at that I will only drive to work and home no more silly trips to store for beer or whatever. I will have list and go to store once a week we have to make a stand somewhere.

I'll keep driving no matter what! I may have to sell my house though. :O

My husband's immediate boss gets a car and unlimited gasoline (I was going to type gas, but then I remembered where I was). He fills up his SUV twice a week.

I think that guy needs to hurry up and retire.

I have to get to class. I don't really have the option of staying home. I'll cut down on fast food before i cut down on driving.

stay home? no. ride my bike to work? that's more a schedule thing than a price-of-gas thing.

If I stay home too long I wont have one.

Yeah, as a musician I have to get to gigs. So I'll wind up paying no matter what the cost.

right now i cant put a $ amount on it. with work, kids in sports, vacations...i cant stop doing these things cause of gas prices. i'd prolly buy us scooters if it gets too far outta hand :)

I have started filling up when the tank gets to half full instead of waiting for the empty light. So for me it's like gas is $1.25 again. It's all in the perception...

Only you fill up twice as often.

You rank up there with my wife setting the clock ahead to trick herself into being on time.

I finally got one of those clocks that reset to the atomic clock every night just so she can't screw with it.

It sucks having 5 clocks in the house, all set at different times.

I've been trying to conserve. I live in a small town so everything is close by. Its the trips to the city that I have to cut down on. If I have to go, I make a whole day of it and try to get as much done in a day as I can, even if I have to take a nap at my girlfriends before I head home.

i already drive a LOT less than i did

if gas hits like $4 i'll probably start carpooling or riding my bike to work

i live 2 miles from work and get around 30 mpg. I top off my tank every 2-3 weeks so it's not a big concern to me.

I find my car gets better gas mileage when I fill it at half a tank instead of on empty.

I already stay home. and I cut the engine while waiting in long lines. I was driving over 100 miles a day until last week. Now..my ex husband has just moved back into town and he's gonna be taking over the responsibility of driving the kids all over creation. Thank ya, jimbob.

You bunch of losers!

Your thumb might be in your nose when you bounce off the grill of my Montero.

Keep your helmet on. Tomorrows a new day and my grill is waiting.

You have a nice grill, I get that. Keep my helmet on, Okay. Heh!

I don't think you live in the center of a city of more than 10 million people.

But, I'm just saying that motorcycles are a good alternative choice.

With that being said, I would love nothing better than to drive my Harley from Okieland down to San Antonio (that is during my semi-annual trips to the US).

The slow ones aren't safe from the nuts.

The fast ones aren't safe because the pop up out of nowhere and even safe drivers get spooked by them.

I ride my bike to school and back every day, drive maybe twice a week. Fill up my car probably twice every 3 months.

And from a fellow biker, I expect you to hit me at some point. Just make sure to knock me off the road, not into the middle of it. TIA.

$4.77 for premium unleaded.

Also, if it happens to be $6.66, drive to a different station.

This is getting silly.

I've been carpooling for the last 3 or 4 years. I may add another person to the pool if it gets too bad. The funny thing is, the more people in the carpool the less your savings are (percentage wise). 2 people carpool and you've cut your gas in half (well, close to that). 3 people carpool and you've cut it in third (which isn't a ton less than a half) and you've raised your pain in the *** factor by a lot.

Either way, a significant economic impact, as many will face the same dilemna.

If it goes up to $4 or so I might think about riding the bus to work some days. Since it's only 4-5 miles to work and I drive a Corolla and it's $20 for a monthly bus pass, it really isn't cost effective for me to trade driving for riding at a lower price than that.

Do you have to ride on his lap?
