Walkoff HR in the 9th. The 50th home run given up by the Reds pitching staff this game alone.

And when I say "pitching staff", I really mean "bunch of homo losers".

When will we pony up the dough for some quality pitchers?

Well, the Reds, even with those "homo losers," are still above .500 on the year at 7-5 and just split a road trip to Chicago and St. Louis, which I'll take any day of the week.
But yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing the Reds get more pitchers in the fold.

This statement could have been uttered in any of the past five years.

We start strong, then fade like cheap paint.

I'll continue to root for them, but I'm starting to feel like a Cubs fan.

Try another MLB team that also wears red and blue which plays in a ballpark named after a mortgage company. The same thing has been said of that outfit what you have said about the Reds.

I'm not worried about "them". I only care about the Reds.

So there. :)

Shoot that's a lot of homers in one game.

Look this year they won't be very good. Face it, I wish it weren't true. But at least they always seem to start good.

I care about both of them. 'Cept when they play one another, then I only have one team to care about.

See? They're doing it again.

They're 11-6 after beating Milwaulkee tonight.

They're going to get me to believing that this is the year that they return to prominence.

And once I do...BLAM!!! They'll start a 2-wins-out-of-32-games slump (usually around mid to the end of May).

Well, HAHA Reds!! I won't fall for it this year!! Do you hear me, Bronson Arroyo!! I'm not falling for it!!

But I'm still rooting for you guys...

Just enjoy the ride. They've exceeded all expectations so far. Last year, a loss like they had on Sunday would have hung over them like a dark cloud but they've recovered nicely, winning four of five.
And how about that Brandon Phillips? He's turned out to be just as good a pickup as Arroyo has.

I know, I know. And I will always be a Reds fan, regardless of how they toy with me.

Heck, at least we have a title as early as 1990. Not a lot of other teams can claim that.

Sorry...living in Ohio for so damned long...I hate anything and everything Cincinnati!

But cheer up...at least Cincy isn't doing as bad as my Marlins. Can't they move to Las Vegas already?

I still have no idea why anyone pays attention to pre-all star break baseball. Completely pointless. Cheer up, man! you guys are doing WELL now.

15-7.

I believe we've almost mathematically locked up at least a wild card berth.

Go Reds!!!

Bring on the Astros. First place on the line this weekend. The GABP better be buzzing for this series.

Micco, guess who currently is atop the NL Central:
Not the Cardinals.
Not the Astros.
Not the Cubs.
Not the trendy sleeper to make the playoffs pick Brewers.
I believe the current NL Central leader is......

Your Cincinnati Reds.

How sweet it is.
