1st 2nd and 3rd seem like they are pulling away. Unless something drastic happens, knock on wood, this should be a three team race for the title, but weve got alot of work to do for that to happen.

Baylor goes 0-4 against UT this week? Yikes!

Nebbish and UT go at it this next weekend. Hope it comes down to a 2-1 for the winner in that series so we can catch up to 1 and 2 a little bit. I think we have a pretty downhill schedule from this point. *minus Rice, minus Nebbish*

The only difference between us and UT and Nebraska is sweeps. We didn't have a sweep until this weekend while UT now has 3 and nebbish has 2. but if we keep at least winning series we should finish no less than third which should be good enough for us to get a regional. Id like to see us at least compete for the title though.

as always thanks for the update atxhorn!!!

WTF?!?!? They don't play extra innings?
Apparently it was travel plans. K-State's flight was leaving at a certain time so they couldn't start any more innings after a certain time.

...which is dumb because the game was played on a Saturday and not a Sunday.

I was hoping this wasn't a common thing with college baseball, and apparantly, it isn't

Re: tie game TTech/KState. A few years ago, TTech was playing in Norman and due to rain delays, a game was stopped after so many innings with a tie score because TTech didn't want to miss their plane or get back to Lubbock too late.

I know you are kidding but if anyone didnt already know which im sure you all do, the requirements to be in the big12 are that you have to have a football, mens basketball, and womens basketball team. After that it doesnt matter as long as you have the NCAA mandated 15 sports teams. Unlike the big east that has almost half of their conference not playing football.

AustinTXHorn, from one baseball fan to another congrats on beating the bugeaters. It appears that you guys are running away with the conference unless nebish can make a series out of it, but with the way you guys are playing it doesn't look like it. Wish we had another series. OOh and thanks for the weekly updates.

What does Rosenblatt review have OU ranked this week? thanks

Thanks. Tonight was a big win, but the last two should be much tougher. Alaniz and *insert third starter here, whoever it will be* have struggled lately and Alaniz even had to close tonight's game out as well. Watson has been NU's ace this year and Alaniz might have to be moved back to Sunday now. I don't like that much because, call me arrogant, but I really want to sweep them and I know it's not impossible.

Rosenblatt's got OU ranked #14 this week, but with the thrasing of Rice and well on their way to winning 2 of 3 at Dan Law, I'd bet that OU makes a pretty nice jump up next week.
