Even if it p!sses off Irishmen everywhere, I prefer a black and tan (Guinness & Bass) to a half and half (Guinness & Harp).

See, I've been places that a black and tan IS Guinness and Harp. It's weird. Almost like Bass and Harp are interchangeable.

The official b&t is with Bass. Long story, but it has to do with British soldiers' uniforms being black and tan, and Bass being a British drink.

I assume half & half is because both are Irish beers and probably the two main beers at some bars, so just half of each...

Either way, it goes down nicely! :D
