DFW.

Some time tomorrow.

I would take I-35 south all the way to 114 East (right by the Speedway), then 114 all the way to DFW.

Boarder

Whichever route you choose, make sure it includes 121 east from I-35 to Frisco. That's the best and least travelled stretch of road in the country.

Isn't that longer than taking I-35E?

I used to live 10 mins form DFW airport. It's the same time that way, as taking I-35 to 121.

That is if you mean DFW as the airport, and not Dallas-Fort Worth.

Well that would definitely be I-35. Once you get to it. Just follow te signs to OKC then stop about 20 to 30 minutes short. Depending on where in OKC you're going and at what time.

Oh...yeah if you're going to the airport, take I-35 to 121. Take 121 business. It's like Exit 450 or something. It basically will run right into the airport.

Going through Denton and Lewisville, you are always risking traffic.

114 is a few miles longer, but usually traffic free now that they have increased the sze of the highway through southlake.

Problem is they are tearing up the road all over the place on 35 and 121 in Lewisville. JK can attest. Sometimes there are lane closures.

take 35W to 114 and go in that route, you'll miss out on all the special traffic after 35 splits in two...

they are doing construction in corinth and lewisville......you dont have to go thru that, or denton, to get the way CVS showed you

True. I just loathe Lewisville traffic. For an outsider, I was thinking the 114 way is pretty fool proof.

its probably still a lil crappy, but its less stressful.....at least imo

its really 6 on one hand, half a dozen on the other......most of the lewisville traffic is over the lake (or around)

if you take 35E, take the George Bush Tollway (south) to 635, its after the frankford exit......much quicker than screwing around with 121

I hate the traffic southbound in Denton, a few miles before the lake. That always seems to be "duh, what am I doing?" central. usually by the time you get to all the boat places, it's chilled out.

None of that on I-35W, though, you're right.

Just take 121. It is right at the mall. The Costco is right there, on your right as you get off 35 and onto 121. From 35 to the airport via 121 should take about 15 minutes. The place where traffic gets screwed up is after 121 and 121B come back together. There are two or three lights along there that knarl up traffic.

Also, where 635 and 121 and 114 come together and split off it is a pain as the jackoffs who are continuing on 121 stay in the left hand side to avoid all of the traffic buildup trying to enter 121. That can cause a few minutes of delay. However, it gives you a great opportunity to honk at the dumbasses. I love using my horn on people who are caught being arseholes.

If you think it's bad now, wait until the finish the 121-35 construction. Then, there will be no lights to break up traffic all the way to the mall. Those two lights by the giganta-church will be a nightmare. An entire rush hour worth of traffic will come cruising down 121 to hit stop lights 1000 yards from each other.

It's a wonder I have yet to get caught up in any wrecks in that mess.

Nothing like having to merge across 2 to 3 lanes of traffic to get onto eastbound 635 and having less than a mile to do it in.

Thank God for my shift.

The family lives Burma. The entire village has been collecting tin cans for almost three years just to raise enough money to send the mother to the United States to see her only child, whom she hasn't seen in over seven years--ever since "the troubles" started in their country. She possibly could have waited a little longer so they could save up the extra airfare, but the cancer has spread, and the even the doctor in the provincial capital (a three-day donkey cart ride away) can't say how long she has left. It could be now or never.

Are you happy now, bastard?
