Ever since it turned warm, it's been like some sicko sci-fi ant invasion movie in my back bedroom. The Raid I'm spraying seems to be hurting me more than them. Short of torching the place (it is a rental), how does one drive these little six-legged freaks out?

I gotta stick a couple of those in the back yard. It's already like Wild Freakin' Kingdom back there with the snakes, lizards, rabbits and squirrels.

There is this liquid bait stuff...it is like crack to them. You put a drop of it on a piece of foil or something and they circle around it and suck it down and then they die. But not before they go tell all their friends where they can go find it. Really works well.

It might be Tempo but I pay like $5 for a little bottle and have had it a couple of years.

That looks like it...is liquid in a bottle?

It is wild...I couldn't stop watching it and checking the little puddles I had left around the kitchen.

I've had a ton this year. I just let them wander ignorantly into my bathroom. None have made it out so far.

I currently have a problem with **** ants. I've never had that problem before. Gee, I live in the very center of a city of 10 million people.

I'm really fine blasting them when I go to pee. But, I don't want to sit down with a lot of them ants around.

Wait up, here!

Are these the little Pharoah Ants AKA **** Ants, Sugar Ants, etc.? I mean the teensy little red ones? If so, then Terro(TM) is the answer. However, if you have pets or very small non-obedient urchins in the house, be certain that you put the stuff where there's NO chance they can get to it. It's sweet, y'see, but deadly.

If you've been invaded by (shudder) Fire Ants AKA Solenopsis Invicta, then you need to disperse some Amdro(TM) or similar product. Again, be careful of placement.

Should you be finding little piles of very fine "sawdust", you have Carpenter AKA "Wood" Ants. This might require the services of a pro (exterminator! Not what Stanley might think.) These fairly sizeable suckers will destroy yo' house!

Here's handy guide to ID-ing the lil' demons. Scroll a bit for a general ant ID guide. (General Ants???? OMG!!!)

No, and it also hardens up after a while. You can put a tiny drop warm water on it before it gets totally hard or just replace it.
Again...Caution with pets and kids!
You'll see the little &%$! gathered around like pigs at the swill for a day or three, then...all quiet on the western front...sniff.
Try to place the stuff directly on their major trade routes, so close to entry points as possible.

Dang, I misspelled it. ****ants, that is.

I never had that problem before. But, I was staying at a four-star upcountry hotel and they had the same problem. Why this is a sudden problem, I don't know.

I did have an ant infestation in my underwear drawer three years ago. Although I was told, at that time, that it was safe to spray insecticide, I was still afraid of napalming my balls off.
