I watched Hartley boom beautiful spirals as he practiced his punts at the Red/White Game. He punted in high school and averaged 44.3 yards per kick. Why can't he serve as kicker and punter?

I agree. I was not impressed with Knall at all (heh).

Knall had some punts into the wind that were were great, I agree that his first two little 21 yarders (just throwing short numers out there) weren't very impressive, but he really does seem to have a good boot.

Who was your punter last year at the Baylor game? Didn't he get off a couple within our 10 yard line?

Bob plans on working Hartley some at punter as an alternative to Knall; i would imagine they will also be looking for a walk on to provide some competition.

just remember, the defense is getting a free shot at your place kicker when he's also the punter....

According to Rival Hartley punted for 3 years in high-school. It says that Stoops is working him in at punting. However, Stoops will also be looking for replacements after spring practice.

There has got to be at least one hillbilly who can punt the ball 60 yards. Why can't we find him/her?

Hopefully that hillbilly will walk-on this fall. :)
