I'm sure many of you knew this already but I didnt. Since 1999 OU has been defeated at home only 2 times...That blew my mind. Damn TCU.
1999 5-0
2000 6-0
2001 6-1
2002 6-0
2003 7-0
2004 6-0

Want to know the link between those two losses at home? OU scored only one touchdown in each of those two defeats.
And darn that Rashaun Woods.

they beat us, at Owen Field

they should ban you on shere ignorance alone

Outside fo that who did they beat? They lost to SMU! I'm sorry TCU benefited from playing nobody.

Look I'm not saying OU was really bad last year. They weren't as good as they should have been. But last years OU team shouldn't have lost to a team like TCU.

Who did TCU beat that was any good last year?

That's the problem.

When we say TCU was good, you say...prove it.

When we list any team they played and beat, you can counter with "they weren't any good either", or "they were way overrated".

It's all subjective.

But the national consensus was they were a pretty good football team. Not the best, but overall a good team.

But here goes nothing:

OU W 17-10 (8-4)
SMU L 21-10 (5-6)
Utah W 23-20 (7-5)
BYU W 51-50 (6-6)
New Mexico W 49-28 (6-5)
Wyoming W 28-14 (4-7)
Army W 38-17 (4-7)
Air Force W 48-10 (4-7)
SDSU W 23-20 (5-7)
Colo St W 33-6 (6-6)
UNLV W 51-3 (2-9)
Iowa St W 27-2 (7-5)

Overall records: (64-70) .4776

Of those teams played (and beat), OU, ISU, Utah, BYU, and Colorado State played in bowls (meaning they were at least .500 or better). New Mexico was over .500 as well. That's six teams that were better than average.

Not great, but not shabby.

I think you're a little quick to dog OU, but won't give other teams credit.

Lemme put it this way. If last years team was well coached and was even half as talented as the year before(which it was on the latter part) then they shouldn't be losing to teams like TCU. OU has no buisness losing to TCU at home. TCU is a nobody.

TCU was a pretty good team last year, but I still can't believe we lost to them...at home...

You mean the 4-7 one?

or

the 11-1 one that finished 13th in the country with a bowl win over a Big 12 team.

NickZeppelin

TCU didn't beat a good team all year. If they played a Big 12 schedule of even last year they end up with maybe 3 or 4 wins. They were probably the worst team OU played all year outside of maybe Oklahoma State.

either you're the biggest dumbass in the USA or you just post this to get a rise out of people.

TCU beat OU which was a pretty good team.

Nick, I was just wondering if you actually eat crap for meals because that is the only possible way you could be so full of it.

Nick, seriously. That is a bit of an ignorant statement. I don't think losing to TCU was acceptable last year or any other year. But wow. Just wow.

Nick's posts are evidence of his innocence. Proof that he lives in a college football bubble that dates back to say around 1999.
