And it was a BS call anyway to throw Modern out. :twinkies:

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Oklahoma coach Sunny Golloway and sophomore Ryan Mottern both will miss tonight's series opener at Texas A&M, due to suspensions stemming from ejections last week .

Golloway returns to the Sooners dugout Saturday, but Mottern must sit three more games, making him ineligible for Tuesday's game against TCU as well.

The suspensions came after the two were ejected from Sunday's game against Texas when Mottern hit Longhorns batter Hunter Harris with a pitch after both benches had been warned. Texas' Drew Stubbs had been hit twice and OU's Kevin Smith had been hit once previously.

NCAA rules state that a coach who is ejected after being warned for his team throwing at batters is to be automatically suspended for one game while the offending pitcher is to be suspended for four games.

Mottern is 2-1 on the mound with a 4.34 earned run average. As a part-time starting left fielder, he's batting .370 with 14 runs batted in.
