So I go to the ticket office with $30 to pick up 6 tickets and I leave with $0 and 5 tickets after paying a $5 processing fee that I didn't know about. I was really ****ed. So were the other 30 people that were screaming at the ticket guys for the same reason while I was there.

Anyway, I was buying tickets for other people and now I'm one short. Anyone have an extra ticket to sell or want to pick up an extra when they order theirs?

I am not just an OK tailgater, I am a pro. So I really can't help you there.

Bastard.

I bet I'm going to end up coughing up the extra $5 tomorrow.

Did they have a processing fee last year? I didn't go last year, but a couple of years ago I could of sworn there was no processing fee.

Nope.

FWIW, they charged me the same $5 for buying my tickets online.

I know. I drove by there to save the $5. I could have done the whole thing online, and printed the tickets myself. Then at least I would have known I was going to get ****ed in advance.

But getting ****** in person is so much better than getting ****** virtually.

Not that I am cheap, but thats like $10 bucks to watch a scrimmage now?

Well, it depends on how many tickets you buy. It's $5 extra per order.

And I am cheap.

Look at it this way. We're facing an opponent better than 90% of the people we face. :D So it's a better game, right?

So technically, if someone orders 2 tickets for them and 1 for you, you should give them the $5 plus 1/3 the $5 fee which would be.....

$6.66

AAAAAHHHHHH!!!! Luck of the Norm strikes again!!! :twinkies:

I shelled out $15 for Bri's 2 tickets today--I almost bought an extra one because i figured somebody would be needing it.

so the people that buy them at the gate tomorrow for $10 will actually have to pay $15?!?!?!?! that's nuts.

They did the same thing to me when I got women's bball tickets online and printed them. ****ERS.

If enough people would tell them to shove it up their *** and not buy the tickets they might actually get the point. But no, instead everyone will cough up the $5 and then whine about it.

there shouldn't be any sort of 'handling fee' for freakin red/white tickets. IT IS A FREAKING PRACTICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Personally, I'm shocked.

'Cause, you know, it's so unlike the athletic department to find new and exciting ways to f*ck us on tickets.

I've heard everyone has to grab their ankles as they enter the stadium so that Joe C can stick it to us yet again.

Is that when they'll be looking for any outside food or beverages?

You have to pay extra to get searched.

Oh, and it's mandatory!

Just wait 'til next year, when they make you buy basketball season tickets just to get on the Red/White wait list. :D

and we pay $60 a year to have a forum to do that in.

:D

Seriously all you whinners, I'd gladly buy Norm's missing ticket, one for myself, and pay the $5 to get to see the scrimmage. And heck, I'd even donate $25 to the tailgate. It's just the $400 airplane ticket, $200 misc expenses and the thought that I might run into one of my ex-wives that keeps me away.
