I sent our HS intern kid home today at 1:30. He is usually here everyday from 1-3 but it's Friday you know? Aren't I a nice guy?

Heck no. I'm paying him until 3. At 7/hr I think I have the $20 bucks or so in the budget so I could send him home to get a jump on the weekend. He goin to a party this weekend and he needs to rent a tux for the prom.

I'm paying the kid for his full two hours. I don't have anything for him to do. Why make him sit here and be bored for an hour and a half because I messed up and don't have anything for him to do?

I'm guessing the 1-3 kid is nerdy, much like 1TC was in high school. The 3:30 crew are the jocks that used to give 1TC a wedgie at recess.
