Are flying overhead right now. That's the second high-speed jet I've heard in the last few minutes. Wonder what's going on.

My wifey works for the FAA. Here's a real life phone call she recieved one day. (not saying it applies in this situation)


Wife: FAA
Caller: Yeah, um like there's all these planes flying over my house.
Wife: Where do you live sir?
Caller: 1234 Methhead Sreet
Wife: OK, sir you do realize your house is just off airport property?
Caller: Um, yeah.
Wife: Do you want me to file a complaint?
Caller: Uh-huh. There goes another one right now.

I live a few miles from the Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth and they have all types of Army, Navy, AirForce and Marine Corp aircraft in and out all of the time and I rarely notice them anymore.

The other night it sounded like they were dogfghting over my house. I'd hear the loud roar of the jet then it would stop then I'd hear it again. Each about 5- 20 seconds apart. They did this for about 45 minutes. I couldn't figure out WTF they were doing.
