Everything gives you cancer now...

You think if they linked Mexicans with cancer we could get rid of them easier?

who do folks insist on getting grilling and bbq confused?

they are two vastly different cooking techniques.

and you're right Stan, this does suck.

Is conducting prostate exams on rats one of the jobs we need illegal immigrants for?

Is a life without BBQ or grilled meat really worth living anyway?

And second of all, it's not that hard to give a rat cancer. They get tumors if you look at them funny. I'll take my chances too.

1. Don't worry, they'll come out with another study a few years from now that says charred meat is actually good for you.

2. I consume enough habanero sauce to offset the effects. :D

3. I consume enough red wine...see above.

4. I really couldn't give a crap what foods may or may not kill rats.

5. I'll probably get cancer and die sooner due to all the smog I breathed in when I lived in L.A. for 12 years than I will from eating, drinking, or smoking anything.

A urologist I worked with a few years back presented studied prostate cancer for a living and concluded that almost all of us men will eventually get prostate cancer if we live long enough.

I understand how smokers feel when they're told cigarettes will kill them.

And, why they like to say, "So."

My grandparents ate charred meat all their lives...and THEY died!

They hit their mid-90's, and pffft...all over.

They shouldn't have eaten the charred meat...They would've made it to at least the mid 120's...

The compound, called PhIP, is formed when meat is cooked at very high temperatures, Dr. Angelo De Marzo and colleagues at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore reported.Sooo? BFD! Cook the meat low and slow.

I ain't givin' up my q.

Why wait till you finish? Go ahead and die with a big half-eaten plate of BBQ in front of you...At least you'll die happy.

Do you really need to add the "mid" in "mid 120's"?

Its like when we were a kid and said we were 7 and "1/2". Once you get up there you don't have to have it.
