my public service announcement

the floating duck with the water thermometer up his butt only tells you how cold/warm the water is on the surface

no matter how hot you are from 3-4 hours of yardwork, and no matter how inviting the pool looks

its still VERY cold down at the bottom......just sayin

well, the one positive is that i cooled off very quickly

i also damn near lost my breath in the process....i would have gotten out quicker, but jake wanted to join me and he blocked my exit

I have video of my dad getting a landcaping block out of the pool in the middle of the winter. IT was used to hold the pool tarp down, and it fell in. He turned the hot water shower on inside, ran out side, jumped all the way in, grabbed the brick, got out and headed straight for the shower. I'd put money that was the fastest anyone ever fished something that heavy out of a freezing pool :D
