Glad to see him at CB. He seems more comfortable there. He looked lost at times at safety and CB allows him to just play football, make plays on the ball. We missed the big plays from CB's last year and I truly think Reggie is gonna be a big time star at CB. He is having fun and it is gonna be fun watching him ruin opposing QB's!

I think he will be awesome at CB. He has the natural physical abilities to play any position, and CB just lets him come out and play. Needless to say, our DB play will be much improved this season.

I'm really excited about our defense in general this season. Anybody else licking their chops at the thought of our DEs ruining Snead's and McCoy's careers?

True- but he was a rover type- just run around and make plays type safty- sounds like he has less responsibility at Corner and is free to make more plays- on the ball.

But- he has never played corner- just taking to it very naturally because he has the talent to do so. Change of Direction/Speed/Hips & size.

Yea, but I'm sure he would sometimes line up vs the other team's best WR like most stud safeties would in HS. Has a little experience.

Same for me until my senior year where I showed some just crazy skills for the position. (My 4'2" height and my 284 lbs was all that kept me from playing on Sundays.):( :(

Is he officially staying at CB? At the beginning of spring, I remember reading that he would be moved back to safety until the other guy's were healthy.

I don't know if you've been to a scrimmage or practice yet, but you'll see what I'm talking about this Saturday......

I can't wait to see this years defense. It sounds like we'll be making some offenses look silly, and I hope the media steers clear of any hype on us till about mid-October.

Maybe (hopefully of course) you're right. But in my experience our D always looks better than our O in the spring. Also we have what 7 O Linemen that are even participating in spring ball? I'm not saying our D won't be good, just don't know that they're 2001 good.

Good point. But you see we're all praying harder this year. ;)
