On Route 66 just a little west of Skelly Stadium. Cool "retro" building and decor. Established in 1983 on the site of an early Arby's. Before that, it was a full service gas station.

Just aw-right dawg. Nice waitstaff, quick...but the chicken fried steak had enough breading on it to clog a toilet. Might go back sometime to try their burger. Definitely "kid friendly"

I've eaten there with IB4OU2 before he only lived a couple of blocks from there. I don't remember the quality of the food but the atmosphere was cool.

The oldest daughter used to work there when she was in Highschool. She had to wear a poodle skirt everyday.......needless to say she didn't like it.

No poodle skirted waitresses now. Just chubby girls in way-too-tight jeans and t-shirts.

I think that provided more than enough information.

Looks like a cool place. Also looks like every other cool place trying to be a diner.

These days, I think the real "diner" places are the old downtown cafés. They usually serve good food, and they provide "mixed fruit" jelly for your toast.

I thought they were going out of business for TU expansion.

They used to have a pretty good Monte Cristo sandwich.

They used to have a pretty good Monte Cristo sandwich.

I think it has been replaced by the Mucho Crisco sandwich.

Could be because I haven't eaten there in the last 5 or 6 years.
