My wife is friends with one of the writers. He is a comedian by the name of Gerry Swallow. He isn't given the credit as the writer in the Yahoo credits on the movie, but my brother in law keeps in touch with Gerry and he told him that he was one of the writers. You can look up Gerry Swallow and find that he has has the writer credit on three or four movies.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much they used scrat in the first one. After the first 10 minutes I was afraid they'd overdo it and it'd lose its comedic novelty. I though they nailed that, was funny every time. Can't wait to see this one.

Sequels are rarely as good as the first ones... I hope this lives up. I only thought the first one was okay... but I was on a bus, so that changes everything.

Shrek 2 was easily as good as the first.

I loved the dodos. "Doom on you!"

heh, we have the first one on DVD. I've Never watched it, VK has never watched it, the kids however have watched it. I think we are going to go see the sequal tonight (with the kiddos).

Let me warn you TD2000, their will most likely be screaming kids in the theater.

You're kidding! Watch it. Awesomely awesome. I think we're about to fire it up before my Mom takes the kids to 2 tomorrow.

I could have lived without the brokeback rhinos in the first one, but it was good.

It was pretty good. My daughter got pretty scared a couple times, heh. That squirrel cracked me up.

I took the 2 1/2 year old. He got scared when the dinosaur-water monsters came on the screen and said, "oooh, big sharks!"

It was his first movie in a theater and he did outstanding. Sat there, ate popcorn, and watched the movie. I was proud.

The movie wasn't bad. Typical nowadays animated kid movie.
