What had been a completely linear feature in western Oklahoma is devolving into distinct supercells as it heads into a more favorable shear environment. I've never noticed that happening before. Usually the opposite happens as a line of supercells merges into more of a squall line. You can almost feel the vorticity when you look at the radar. :texan:
Translated to hillbilly: Don't stray too far from a hidey hole for awhile.

I just want some rain, wildfires are becoming a huge problem down here,
a few FEMA trailers folks were living in due to Katrina were burned up
by wildfires last night.

you know you are about to get hammered when the weather folks run out of shades of red to indicate strength of storm. Up here in Tat and vicinity they have gone to purple in spots. :(

I was waiting for this. It was originally "**** yeah!", but when I hit SUBMIT it didn't go through and I had to start over. In my haste I made a typo, and I can't edit the thread title.

I'm hoping the vaunted Tulsa Weather Shield can be overcome. I'm thinking Homey and Tuba and I need to pull some Return of the Jedi sh*t and get the shield generators down.

There is no such thing as a Tulsa Weather Shield. Tulsa gets all the action. Half the time Oklahoma City is on the wrong side of the dry line or the capping inversion, but Tulsa gets nailed every time.

It seems like the last time I had Bueno, it didn't seem as flavorful as it used to be.
