Who do yall think will start next year for us?
Heres wat i think:
G Austin Johnson
G Michael Neal
F Taylor Griffin
F Nate Carter
C Longar Longar
But some freshman is likely to get in the mix... maybe Chris Walker too

Scottie Reynolds will most likely start at Point Guard- and we should be 3 deep at guard

Damian James- would spell for Griff and Nate- and push to start-

Longar Longar: will start- we need depth here- I think he will be getting in foul trouble etc etc.

If Walker is getting many minutes he will either be the most improved player I've ever seen in one year or we are down to 7-8 scholarship players.

Your line-up is probably right for November. I think by the time conference comes around Scottie Williams will be starting and he will be playing a bunch of minutes from day 1. James will play a lot, he has guard skills and PF size so he could play anywhere from the 2-4 depending on the coach/system. Until we know the eligiblity of Clark and Mayfield and out new coach it is hard to make a good guess.

If Longar sees significant minutes next year, we're gonna be in deep deep trouble.

I don't think so. For one thing it means he has gotten better at staying out of foul trouble. I would say if we are counting on Longar for our inside offense, more than 6-7 points a game and he is on the foul line a lot late in games we would be in trouble. Longar just needs to play solid defense, block a few shots and get his points on the offensive boards. He is not and will never be a scorer but I think he will be fine.

1 - Reynolds; AJ backup
2 - Neal; AJ backup
3 - Carter
4 - Griffin
5 - ?

I agree with Trombone about L squared unless he improves significantly. Maybe we'll get a JUCO post man.

If Longar sees significant minutes next year, we're gonna be in the NIT.

fixed.

We may be an NIT team either way. I hope not but until we know who our coach is and our recruits are on campus it could be our likely path.

The words "Austin Johnson" and "start" just don't go together.

I hate to say it, but that lineup doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy for next year.

Keith Clark not qualifying is going to hurt.

Don't forget about Jeremy Mayfield guys. He's gonna be really good.
